Special Projects and Events

The Association for a Better World covers a very broad  spectra of operations.  In addition to the programmes for kindergarten, primary, junior, and secondary schools, business people, management and executives , senior citizens , we also organize humanitarian projects and individual help projects,  as well as cultural events and public lectures. Certainly one of the more memorable events was the visit of the Dalai Lama to Slovenia, plus other interesting ones.

• We organize concerts, public lectures, important speeches by prominent guests, and educational seminars. We organized three concerts by the Tibetan singer and female-writer Soname Yagchen,  authoress of »The Child of Tibet« book. The concerts were in Maribor and Ljubljana.

• We organized a lecture/speech in Slovenia, given by Dr. Sambashiva Rao, an ayurvedic doctor.

• We have also organized lectures on the topic »death and help to dying persons« , given by Geshe Norsang from the Ganden Monastery, South India. The lectures took place in Maribor and Ljubljana.

• We  initiated the visit of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to  Slovenia,  co-organized  this event. (More) (Photo Gallery)

• We cooperate with the Udruga 5 plus Organization, based in our neighbouring country of Croatia. This organization is one of the main  leaders regarding  drug prevention programmes.
